Meigas, (Galician for sorceresses), located in Norwalk, CT, is the former, highly acclaimed Meson Galicia restaurant where Blanco first set the tone for offering the highest quality, most authentic Spanish cuisine over 12 years ago.  The reinvention of Meson Galicia into Meigas is simply the product of taking the opportunity to re-introduce themselves and the foods of Spain to the consumer. The name was taken from Meigas in Manhattan, the downtown restaurant that Blanco and Bollo created in 1999, which received rave reviews and was all too soon put to bed after the 9/11 tragedy.
